Graphic Designer & Photographer
Get to know a little more
For as long as I can remember, I’ve been artistically inclined. From those first few moments as a wee lad, being taught to colour and draw by my ever patient mum, to me graduating as a graphic designer. If someone were to ask me what I do, I would describe myself as a graphic designer, photographer, and most importantly, an artist. I know I’m not alone when it comes to being creative in more than one form of art. Whether it be design, illustration, photography, and yes I do consider photography to be art, I am constantly looking for ways to express myself.
I grew up in the small town of Newcastle in Northern Kwa-Zulu Natal, South Africa. It’s what I know, for a few years I studied in Pretoria and for a short while was swayed by the bright lights of the big city. But I soon yearned to be back in Newcastle, with it’s wide open spaces, beautiful countryside and friendly faces. Small town life is what I know, and what I Love. Those values of integrity, and doing things from the heart, that were instilled in me, is something I continue to practice and now bring to Acacia Lane. I still believe a firm handshake and a warm smile can achieve lots, even in this modern world we live in, there’s a place for old fashioned values.
